Nairn Golf Club boasts everything that makes a top-quality course: a prestigious Golf World ranking, familiar with significant tournaments, and one of Scotland's most authentic links courses.
The club features a world-class driving range and putting green, so you can sharpen your craft before you thrash your mates. On top of this, the pro shop stocks top-quality gear and equipment if you want to treat yourself.
A trip to Nair Golf Club is ideal for groups who want to explore after the fairways, as it's just a short ride away from Inverness city centre, authentic Scottish pubs, and popular restaurants.
Nairn's opener is a 370-yard par-4, with the beach on the right and three fairway bunkers. Flex your driving skills and cover some serious distance.
The approach is easy from the fairway, with two bunkers on either side of the generous green. Simple, right? You don't want to find yourself in these bunkers.
On the 6th, a large gorse lays across the fairway, with three bunkers guarding the dancefloor. To avoid the gorse, take an extra club to avoid the sand and rough for a possible birdie chance.
Surprisingly, the 18th features a generous fairway, with plenty of space to the left for your drive, with bunkers coming into play during the second half.
Long hitters should lay up before the middle bunkers, with their second shot landing before the left bunker.
For the third stroke, a smooth chip should land near the pin, and then you can sink the winning putt.
Nairn Golf Club's 19th is the perfect place to sit down with the gang, catch up, and laugh about all the three-putts and slices.
On top of this, the menu offers a wide range of food and drinks, so it's perfect for a pre-round coffee or a post-round pint of swing oil with your friends as you soak up the 360 views.
