Full Course Lowdown

Kings Golf Club Inverness was built on the old grounds of Torvean Golf Club and expanded on its characteristics. Despite the lack of history compared to others in Inverness, this gem is already rated the 74th best in Scotland.

With generous fairways, premium greens and tee boxes, this is a top-quality round for the crew to warm up before tackling the big boys in Highland and Inverness.

Just on the outskirts of Inverness, the club boasts an ideal location surrounded by a range of accommodations and plenty to explore in your free time.

Course

Take an extra club off the tee on the 1st, this 385-yard uphill battle plays longer than the scorecard suggests. Harsh bunkers protect either side of the green, so you can't hack the approach!

At 159 yards, the 10th par-3 demands accuracy. Select your club wisely, as anything overhit will run off the back, and we don't want to add to the scorecard on a par-3, do we?

Another par-3 on the 16th, known as the "Leap of Faith", requires a shot favouring the left side of the green. Bunkers guard the right of the green and it slopes towards them. Harsh.

Clubhouse

This lively 19th is open until 11 pm every day. Yep, the post-round celebrations and swing oil can continue until late-night before you head into the centre of Inverness.

Whether you grab a morning coffee to kickstart the round or relax in the two lounge areas and take advantage of the well-stocked bar, this welcoming clubhouse boasts something for everybody.

On top of this, it features all the facilities you need, from changing and lockers to an impressive Proshop with a range of equipment and apparel.
