Top hint for this course
On the 12th, a dogleg right complicates the tee shot. Aim just right of the four left side bunkers and enjoy the open approach towards the dancefloor.
Full Course Lowdown
For those looking to travel to the Highlands and conquer the world-famous links, your bucket list is incomplete without Nairn Dunbar.
The course was designed by two of golf's greatest architects. What does this guarantee? Authentic golf, enjoyable playability, and a challenge. Prepare for one hell of a round.
Course
To kick things off is a 418-yard par-4. From the tee, land short of the first left bunker to give yourself an open second shot towards the green.
On the 3rd, watch out for the bunkers. This par-3 requires an extra club off the tee to carry the sand and find the pin. Simple.
A par-5 closes the front nine, with a weaving fairway and two cleverly placed bunkers. Beginners should attempt a zig-zag pattern, whereas big hitters should lay before the first bunker.
Birdie opportunity alert! The 14th is a par-4 with a welcoming fairway. Carry the yardage, where an ideal second shot lands before the bunkers. Next, let your chipping do the talking.
The 18th is straightforward, so you can't bottle it. Find the dancefloor in two strokes by hitting the centre left of the fairway before your approach.
Finish strong and head to the 19th.
Clubhouse
Treat yourself to an ice-cold pint from the selection of draught beers and overlook the course from the terrace. Birra Moretti on tap is always a green flag…
This cosy Scottish 19th has something for everybody, whether you want a classic clubhouse snack, coffee, or a heartwarming meal to refuel after thrashing your friends.
