Top hint for this course
On the 4th, a 161-yard par-3, use the bowl around the green to your advantage. Allow the slope to push the ball towards the pin for a possible birdie chance.
Full Course Lowdown
Castle Stuart Links is a must-try for anybody touring the world-famous Highland & Inverness fairways. People flock from all over the world to experience its greatness.
Even pros are tested by the authentic links layout. Grab the gang, clean your clubs and prepare for action. Who will win your own Scottish Open?
Course
On the opener, beware of the fairway slope from left to right. Favour the left to compensate, then take caution to approach the well-guarded green.
The 5th is a par-4 with a narrow fairway. Use a hybrid for accuracy before hitting a simple approach. Easy.
For the 9th hole, swing to the generous space on the left, then carry to the dancefloor. If your approach was on point, there should be a birdie chance. Don't be disappointed with a par.
A 347-yard par-4 on the 14th has a trap for big hitters with a central bunker. It's best to hit towards the sand, landing before the trap for a simple second stroke.
To finish is a 490-yard par-5. A slight dogleg right hides the fairway, but you can reach the green in two, with your skills. Hit the large green and sink the winning putt.
Clubhouse
After a killer performance, treat yourself to the Highland 14-day-matured ribeye steak and wash it down with your favourite beverage. You've earned it.
Make yourself at home. Whether you grab a Scottish larger or traditional whiskey, overlook the course you conquered, the insane links landscape, and discuss the action from the round.Course Facilities
