Let's give you a tip for the tricky 13th. This par-3 has a dancefloor swarmed with hazards. Hit a sweet shot that lands just before the bunkers for an easy approach shot to the pin. Don't overhit-there's a bunker and water behind the green.
Full Course Lowdown
The first Robert Trent Jones-designed course in Europe. Prepare for a round of wide fairways, elevated and quick greens, shed loads of bunkers, tree-lined fairways, and plenty of water. Yep, accuracy is vital.
Real Club de Golf Sotogrande has hosted both Ballesteros and a young amateur McIlroy. Follow in the footsteps of golf's greats and create lifelong memories with the squad.
Course
The opener has Jones' design influence written all over it. Six bunkers, with four surrounding the dancefloor, test your accuracy from the get-go. We hope your approach game is decent, you're going to need it.
On the 4th, you guessed it, another dancefloor plagued with sand. This par-3 demands accuracy; aim for the centre if you've got the technique. Cautious players will lay up.
A par-4 on the 10th has a harsh dogleg right, placing the green out of sight. Hit a lovely drive down the middle to cut the angle and set up the second stroke. The small, well-guarded green is a challenge.
The 14th requires a carry over the lake, favouring the left to avoid the right bunkers. Aim for the centre of the dancefloor to get closest to the pin.
