Top hint for this course
Here's a tip for the 7th. This par-3 has a difficult green that catches most players out. Avoid this by under-hitting the approach, as anything overhit will go beyond the green. The shot from behind is horrible.
Full Course Lowdown
With a prestigious ranking in Spain, highly recognised across Europe, and a tournament-stacked course, La Reserva Club is a force to be reckoned with. The wide and undulated fairways make an exciting test of skills alongside the difficult water features.
A true bucket-lister for anybody looking to conquer the best courses in Spain; get the squad together and compete on these legendary fairways.
Course
On the opener, a dogleg left on this par-4 complicates the track. The dancefloor is guarded by rocky waters, so consider this in the final shot.
The 5th, a par-3, is a downhill tee shot. A large bunker protects the undulated green, making both the approach and the putting a nightmare if you fumble.
At the end of the front nine, aim centrally to head towards the extremely difficult green. Undulated, narrow and guarded by a front bunker. Quite a harsh end to the first half.
Now for the highlight hole on the 14th. On this par-4, favour the right side before using the second shot to guide between the bunkers on either side. The approach must be tactical; the green has two tiers.
The final hole is unforgiving. The narrow fairway to finish challenges accuracy from the drive and the undulated green tests IQ. Select your clubs carefully.
