Top hint for this course
Let's give you a tip to get ahead on the course. At the start of the back nine, you face a harsh dogleg left. Be sure to favour the right side of the fairway as there are hidden bunkers just beyond the row of trees. The second shot should then be straightforward and give you an easy approach shot onto a large green.
Full Course Lowdown
It's renowned as an overall satisfying experience every time you play at Valle Romano. It's a championship course that never fails to impress any group due to its array of challenges. You have to try this one.
Get everybody together to play on the famous American architect's loop. Even the "connoisseurs" of the group will be impressed by this one.
Course
Straight from the 1st, the quality of the layout, design, and maintenance is clear. The tee-off requires a strong and direct drive to carry over this par-5, but be warned, the approach shot is difficult here as the green is tiny.
The end of the back nine also requires a bit of welly; show off your driving strength. It's also a great hole to play a game of greenies. The dancefloor is surrounded by bunkers, so be sure to favour accuracy with your second shot.
The 16th is different as it will reward those with more delicate and sexy technique. Aim towards the left of the green to avoid the bunkers and set up an accurate approach shot. Can you get a birdie?
The finishing hole is an excellent par-3 that demands complete focus. The stretched bunker on the right side means favouring the left is obvious.
Clubhouse
If you're seeking the ultimate escape and feeling of relaxation after a round, this 19th hole is the cream of the crop.
Believe it or not, this clubhouse has a sauna, so relax those aching shoulders and legs. You deserve it after that win.
Afterwards, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and the gastro cuisine available to all golfers. If that doesn't take your fancy, a food truck is on-site from midday to around 6 p.m., so there are many options for all tastes.
