How about a tip for the 2nd hole? On this par-3, favour the left side of the green to avoid the larger bunker and land closest to the pin.

Full Course Lowdown

At only 6,233 yards, many might underestimate the difficulty of this course-but this could be your downfall. The tight fairways suggest you should consider accuracy over distance.

For those with sexy technique and high golf IQ, there are plenty of birdie opportunities. Prepare to navigate the course carefully and put your skills to the test.

Course

The opening hole isn't easy. A narrow fairway with a hazard to the right and an out-of-bounds on the left will give you a hard time. Consider the distance and favour a hybrid instead of a driver for success.

On the 6th, a par-5, prepare for one of the most difficult holes of the round. This lengthy and narrow tree-lined fairway will cause trouble for any slicers of the group. Favour the right side of the green for the easiest approach.

At the start of the back nine, a two-tier green waits. A firm drive down the middle of the fairway should clear the yardage and avoid trouble, so tee off with an iron. Watch as your mates hit a driver and land out-of-bounds.

Clear the roughage on the 13th and angle your shot to cut the dogleg right. Select your club carefully, as there are plenty of awkwardly placed bunkers on the dogleg.

The final hole is an easygoing finish. A wide, short fairway and a large green is a golfer's dream. Keep your cool and finish strong. You can't bottle it at the final pin, can you?

Clubhouse

This 19th hole is everything you want in a clubhouse on holiday: a sun-soaked terrace, ice-cold beverages, and sublime Mediterranean cuisine. Tuck into a beef fillet and wash it back with Estrella-the meal of champs.

Whether you're fuelling for the round with breakfast and a coffee or celebrating after the round with the gang, this is the perfect setting.

The Location

Nestled in the countryside of Costa del Sol, you're not far from plenty of accommodation, bars, and restaurants, so sorting your itinerary is a breeze.

You're also just 8.6km from Marbella's Puerto Banus. Yep, just a short drive between beach bars, world-famous nightclubs, and swanky cocktail joints, as well as the most stunning cuisine in Southern Spain.

Malaga Airport is 65.8km away from the course, so if you're staying in or around Marbella, it will take just under an hour (traffic-dependent) to head there.
