Top hint for this course
As you're dealing with the booking, here's a tip for the 12th. Hit an accurate shot towards the water, with the ball lying just before it. This will set up a sweet approach towards the spacious dancefloor.
Full Course Lowdown
A links replication on the coast of Sotogrande, and certainly one of Southern Spain's better loops available. Prepare for a thrilling round that might expose a few of the group's skills with the cleverly placed bunkers and strategic use of water hazards.
Peter Alliss definitely knows how to build a course that challenges visitors, and he achieved exactly that. Book a round here and battle out for the number one spot.
Course
Teeing off at the 1st is intimidating if you struggle to avoid sand. Aim between the middle of the initial two bunkers before hitting a second shot that favours the left side of the fairway to avoid the next sand.
The 3rd, a par-4, has a generous fairway which means one thing. Big drives. Open up and show the gang how many yards you can cover, the further the better. Providing you cleared the bunkers; the approach is dead simple.
On the 14th, prepare for a cautious approach. Lay up before the bunkers in front of the green, then prepare to use a sexy chip shot to hit the dancefloor.
To finish, a par-5 is between you and the pin. Two firm shots will reach the green in two; plan your route, select your clubs wisely, and you'll finish strong.
Clubhouse
A fancy 19th with a modern interior. The friendly atmosphere and excellent service keep golfers around for a few, and that's without mentioning the menu created by a Michelin-starred chef.
