Full Course Lowdown
The South Course is known to be the cream of the crop when it comes to Quinta Do Lago and its three courses. Possibly the most difficult, it's a great chance to see if your friend is lying about his handicap.
Prepare for one of the Algarve's crown jewel rounds and unforgettable memories.
Colin Montgomerie broke the world record on this course with a round of 63. Who can get closest? Winner gets a pint at the end!
Course
We hope your tee game is on point as accuracy could make or break your round on this course. The many doglegs may require you to ask for a mulligan - we've all been there.
Hole 8 is a dogleg right with an uphill par-4 and a sloped fairway. Avoid the hill by keeping your wits about you on this one.
Opening the back 9 is possibly the most difficult par-4 of the course. It requires a great drive and a careful second shot to a fast green. A par here should gain some respect from the gang.
Clubhouse
Time to reward yourself with some swing oil. The clubhouse overlooks the South Course and its rugged coast. Sit down and prepare the forfeits for the losers of the round over a well-earned meal.
If you're feeling adventurous with your food, or want some simple British classics, you will feel spoilt with the choices available for grub.
The pleasures of this lively venue will keep you there for a few rounds at least. Wet the whistle before heading out and creating hilarious memories whilst hitting the town.

The Location
Positioned on the coast, this champion course location is brilliant.
Close by are many local bars and restaurants for your group to let go and escape. It's an excellent location for a group looking to golf all day and party all night.
The course is 16.8km from Faro Airport. There are so many hotels all within a short and convenient distance from the airport and golf course. Be sure to check this place out, it's one to brag about visiting.
Be sure to check out Albufeira, only 41.4km, it's Portugal's elite night out. Not that you legends need much encouragement to hit the towns...
