San Lorenzo is the 104th best golf course in Continental Europe by Golf World, and it comes as no surprise with the testing layout and incredible views.
Host of the 1990 Portuguese Open and the Algarve Senior Opens, this gem is the ideal course for a legendary Algarve golf trip.
Course
Let's tee off with the 6th. This par-4 is known for its incredible views (definitely Insta-worthy) and testing drive, with a marsh along the right side. Whatever you do, don't slice it off the tee!
Another par-4 on the 7th is a harshly narrow fairway leading to the pin. Take a club less for the approach, and aim short if you can, the dancefloor has three deep bunkers at the back.
Hole 16, a par-3, will separate the mid-handicappers from the low, with bunkers around the front and back of the dancefloor. Accuracy is vital and wind affects play, so pick your club carefully.
