Top hint for this course
Let's give you a tip for the 6th, the most difficult par-5 on the course. Favour your second shot down the left of the fairway, close to the trees. It will avoid the water and cut the difficult angle for the approach.
Full Course Lowdown
A stellar course for the friend who can hit straight drives (sorry slicers). Water and tree-lined fairways are common; plan your navigation tactically and take your time off the tees.
One for the seasoned golfers. Gather the best players in your group for this one and discover who is the most technical. It's going to get heated.
Course
From the first, a tricky par-5 demands accuracy. The second shot is key to avoid the bunkers and land on the green, so take your time and hit the generous dancefloor.
The 3rd is a deceiving par-3. Take an extra club off the tee to gain the yardage towards the dancefloor. Beware of the bunker to the right and water on the left.
The end of the front nine is a sneaky par-4. Many fail to notice the lake of the back, so it's better to under-hit on your approach to the green. Don't send your ball for a swim.
At the 12th, a par-3 with more water (surprise, surprise) between the tee and the pin. Accuracy is vital here; carry over the water and land between the two bunkers surrounding the green for a potential birdie.
To finish the round, a meaty par-4 lies ahead that requires two strong shots to reach the green. Aim slightly left down the fairway to avoid both the bunker and the water.
Now for the finisher. Take your time with the approach, avoid the bunker, and show the gang how the short game is done.

A warming atmosphere welcomes those who finish the course. Prepare for one hell of a dining experience, as the 19th combines Portuguese seafood and classic clubhouse options for those lighter lunches.
