Full Course Lowdown

One of the original courses, it helped the Algarve stamp its mark in the golf world as possibly the best. Many overlook the Ocean course because of the Royal course, but those who pass up are missing out.

It's a true test of accuracy, so it'll be funny watching your "big hitter" friend have a nightmare out on these fairways. You'll need true golf IQ and careful technique to win this one.

Course

On the opener, a difficult par-4 requires a strong drive down the left side of the fairway to set things up nicely. The next shot should favour the right side of the fairway, to avoid the bunker and set up the easiest approach shot.

The 8th is a difficult par-5 with a dogleg right hiding the dancefloor. So, zig-zag golf is required. Your tee shot should favour the left of the fairway for a second shot down the middle to discover the green. Then, you should have a simple approach shot.

The 17th hole is a par-3 on the meatier side. An uphill shot is needed to reach the dancefloor that's surrounded by bunkers. Will you play it safe and layup or go straight for the green? We'll let you decide.

Clubhouse

A stunning 19th hole. This venue is perfect, whether you want to unwind with a pint in hand or get prepared before hitting the town with some cocktails, you're sorted. Get out on the decking under the Mediterranean sun and get stuck into some tapas.

Analyse the beautiful technique on your approach shot that won the round whilst preparing forfeits for the losers of the round. This clubhouse's lively atmosphere keeps golfers for hours.
