Where to play golf in Mauritius
The golf is on two coasts. The east coast has the most courses, around Belle Mare and Trou d'Eau Douce. The south coast is quieter and wilder, with the Heritage Bel Ombre estate and Avalon in the hills behind it.

When is the best time to play golf in Mauritius?

Getting to Mauritius
- Flights: direct from London in around 12 hours, or via the Middle East from other UK airports.
- Transfers: included in our packages. All three resorts are around 45 minutes to an hour from the airport.
- Time difference: Mauritius is 4 hours ahead of the UK, 3 in British summer time.
Beyond the golf
Take a catamaran trip to Ile aux Cerfs, look for dolphins off the west coast, walk to the Chamarel waterfall and the Seven Coloured Earth, or hike in Black River Gorges National Park. In the evening, try Creole, Indian and French food, and a glass of local rum.
