Avalon Golf Estate is located in the lush south of Mauritius, near the town of Bois Chéri and surrounded by tea plantations, forests, and rolling hills. Set away from the busier coastal resorts, it offers a quieter, more scenic side of the island while still being within easy reach of popular hotel areas. The course is around 45 minutes from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, making it convenient for travelling golfers. Expect cooler breezes, panoramic inland views, and a completely different feel to Mauritius' beachfront courses.
