Full Course Lowdown
Designed by the GOAT architect, Alister MacKenzie, you can guarantee an elite round if it was made by the man responsible for Cypress Point, Augusta, and Royal Melbourne.
The club boasts extensive practice facilities to loosen up, a Pro shop with custom club fitting and FlightScope technology, plus, a cosy clubhouse serving fresh dishes. Awesome.
Course
The opener is a sweeping par-4 with bunkers to the right and trees on the left. Aim to land just before the bunkers for the chance to approach on your second stroke.
Thankfully, the green is quite generous, so if you avoid the front bunkers, you could score a birdie!
On the 6th, a blind drive towards the dancefloor is a bit of a throwback to old-school golf, but the fairway is wide, so it's hard to miss.
However, the second shot is a narrow approach to a two-tiered green. Good luck.
Hole 16 features a sharp dogleg right, so your slice might actually come in handy! Aim slightly right and take enough club for the uphill approach towards a well-protected and small green.
Clubhouse
Before your round, you line your stomach with the All-Day Golfer's Grill, a full Irish fry-up with all the works--now, that's the breakfast of champions.
If you fancy a bite afterwards, the menu boasts all the clubhouse classics, made with local ingredients.
Whether you're celebrating with a refreshing pint or relaxing before a round, this traditional 19th with a cosy interior is an ideal location to catch up with your mates.

The Location
Ireland's weather can be unpredictable, even in the summer months. Pack for all conditions; the weather on links courses can be harsh!
And the beauty of this location is the convenience. Cork city centre is 9.8 miles away, and Cork Airport is 15.9km away, so you won't need to spend cash on travel.
Cork may be Ireland's second capital, but the city is Ireland's food capital, with famous restaurants and artisan eateries everywhere.
As well as this, the vibrant culture and music scene create one hell of an atmosphere for your group's big night out.
On the other side of the city, The Kingsley Hotel is a four-star hotel with incredible facilities, but if that doesn't fit the crew's budget, there are plenty of affordable options in the centre.
If you don't fancy trying to catch a taxi last minute from the airport, GroupiaGolf can sort you an airport transfer--just add it to your free enquiry.
