Full Course Lowdown
Golf Club Rotana Palmeraie is Marrakech's underrated gem. As a frequent host of the Resorts Trophy and future host of a 2024 Ladies European Tour event, this course sets the standards for world-class golf in Morocco.
With flat terrain, fast greens, palm tree-lined fairways, and plenty of water hazards, this entertaining round boasts suitability for all skill levels.
Before your round, take advantage of the extensive practice facilities, including a 30-bay driving range and a video system to analyse your swing. Plus, all buggies feature a GPS. Legendary.
On the 2nd, the dogleg right often lures drives towards the sand on the left. Don't overcompensate to clear the dogleg. Lay up before the bunkers for a possible birdie on this par-5.
The 11th, a par-3, requires a strong IQ and an extra club to carry the harsh bunker guarding the front of the dancefloor.
At the end of the back nine, the clubhouse is watching-no pressure! Navigate the dogleg left by landing between the two bunkers, and then use a mid-iron to approach from a distance.
Sink the winning putt and head to the 19th for a victory pint.
The clubhouse facilities are split in two, with a bar and a restaurant nearby.
Hole 19 Bar & Lounge features a Moroccan-style interior and a sun-soaked terrace overlooking the fairways. Yep, it's about as unique as it gets.
Order an ice-cold bottle of Flag Speciale for an authentic taste of Moroccan beer or grab a craft cocktail mixed by the expert bartenders.
Terrase Du Golf is ideal for grabbing some grub to fuel your round or recover after.
With an impressive range of dishes, from poke bowls and burgers to classic clubhouse sandwiches, this kitchen serves something for everybody.
Why not order the Dar el salam, with local favourites like msemen, baghrir, harcha (similar to pancakes) and jben (local cheese)?
