Full Course Lowdown
Assoufid Golf Club is Marrakech's finest, boasting several prestigious rewards and rankings every year since opening in 2014.
Preserving the natural landscape for a unique desert-style layout has created an exciting round for low-handicappers. Expect undulating, palm tree-lined fairways and well-protected greens.
Before your tee time, take advantage of the extensive practice facilities, featuring a 20-bay driving range (with grass mats), a chipping area, and a practice green to sharpen your craft.
Harshly, the green has bunkers front and back, so use a lay-up if you don't feel confident.
On the 8th, a harsh dogleg and a pair of cruel bunkers complicate the halfway point on this 562-yard par-5. Aim just before the right-side bunker for an ideal second swing.
Clear the distance with a mid-iron, but remember, three bunkers guard the front of the dancefloor; another lay-up shot could come in clutch.
Finally, the 17th is a signature hole. On this 163-yard par-3, three bunkers protect the green (surprise), making this a challenge to your club selection IQ and accuracy.
