Full Course Lowdown

Druids Glen Golf Course is Dublin's pride and joy. The incredible landscape has hosted four Irish Opens and the 2002 Seve Trophy so you can follow in the footsteps of legends.

Known as the "Augusta of Europe" and included in the European Golf Resort of the Year in 2005, these fairways are stunning and challenging for anybody looking to conquer a bucket-lister.

Course

Starting with the 8th, this par-4 requires an accurate tee shot over the water towards a narrow fairway (sorry slicers). This one will test your nerve.

The 12th is Druid Glen's landmark hole, a par-3 played across the lake to a well-bunkered green. It's worth a photo before you tee off. Any shanks will hit the sand.

On the 18th, you guessed it, more water. This testing par-4 features a tree-lined fairway and a river running along the left and around the dancefloor, but a decent drive could set up a birdie.

Clubhouse

Druids Glen Golf Club, the 19th, offers an informal dining and drinks menu to enjoy as you catch up, analyse the action, and laugh at your friend who lost their Pro V1s in the water.

Whether prepping for a round with a hot coffee and a massive full Irish breakfast or rewarding your birdie with a juicy 10oz Sirloin steak, the clubhouse offers something for all.

The Location

Druids Glen Course is at the five-star Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort, so you don't need to stress about finding accommodation.

Yep, just a putting distance from your tee time.

Also on-site is the incredible Druids Heath Course, packed with signature holes.

You must check out the craic in Dublin, 37.9km away, home to traditional Irish pubs crammed with authentic live music, buzzing crowds, and creamy pints of Guinness.

Dublin offers affordable alternatives to Druids Glen Hotel if you're balling on a budget, so staying in the city centre can save some cash - but you will have to travel to your tee time.

On top of this, Dublin Airport is 59.2km away, so pre-book an airport transfer or call a taxi.
