Top hint for this course

On the 12th, a par-3, we recommend aiming towards the back of the green to avoid the four bunkers guarding the front. Take an extra club if necessary.

Full Course Lowdown

Are you ready to play one of the world's best? We hope you bring you're a-game. Follow in the footsteps of European legends and enjoy thrilling challenges.

Now it's time for the gang to leave their mark on these epic fairways. Who will win your own Spanish Open? There's only one way to find out--get stuck in!

Course

The opener is a challenging par-4 with a narrow fairway towards the end. From the tee box, hit the centre of the fairway before approaching with a short iron (it's reachable in two).

It's not hard to see why the pros play here. This narrow, tree-lined fairway is intimidating. Keep calm, select your club carefully, and favour the right of the green for success.

Accuracy off the tee is important on the 11th. Cover some serious yardage on this lengthy par-5, but don't slice it, or you'll face the punishment of a drop ball. Keep it straight.

Will you go for the risk-reward on the 13th, a par-4? Lower handicaps will swing straight for the pin. Higher handicaps will use a lay-up before the bunkers to guarantee safety.

For the finisher, it's a par-4 with a generous fairway. Hit the centre to remove the dogleg left, which should leave an open shot for the centre of the dancefloor.

Celebrate the winning putt and grab a drink.

Clubhouse

As one of the best courses in Europe, the 19th is top-class.

After a round for the history books, grab a well-earned ice-cold beverage and soak up the vitamin D on the terrace.

The menu here is insane. Order your favourite Spanish cuisine classics and overlook the Mediterranean Sea.

The Location

The course is moments away from Valencia, and an approach shot from Platija de la Devesa (the local beach).

On-site is the Parador El Saler, a stunning five-star hotel. Stay here to upgrade your trip.

Valencia, one of Spain's liveliest nightlife spots, is only 20.8km away.

Famous for clubs and modern cocktail joints to quiet Spanish bars, Valencia has nightlife for all tastes. And as you're in the home of paella, it would be rude not to indulge.

Valencia Airport is 28.4km away, so it will take under an hour to head to the hotel after you land.
