Course

A harsh start. There's no room for creativity with a right-angle dogleg, a large body of water, and tree-lined fairways in the second half. Favour accuracy for success.

On the 5th, a par-3, things ease up (if you're handy with a mid-iron). Clear the water and hit the centre of the large green for a possible birdie. We'll leave the putting to you.

At the end of the back nine, the dancefloor is hidden by a slight dogleg right, so drive down the centre of the fairway. If you covered the yardage, the approach is simple.

The 11th, a par-4, is a narrow fairway. Trust your hybrid, favour accuracy, or risk hitting the bark and taking a second stroke from the woods. Don't be a lumberjack.

It's an open stretch to finish the round, begging for a scorcher off the tee. Once you've covered some distance, don't bottle the easy approach shot, sink the putt, and celebrate like a champ.
