NAU Morgado Golf Course

A rollercoaster round. Large greens and generous fairways, but plenty of hazards and one hell of a hard time sinking putts. This mixed-bag course keeps even seasoned golfers on their toes, making an exciting game.

Taking inspiration from Scottish links-using deep bunkers and wide fairways-play a replication of coastal links but without the bad UK weather. Get the group together and play this unique challenge.

Course

A fairly straightforward beginning, as the pin on this par-4 is reachable in two. Hit a firm drive to lay up before the bunker and leave an easy approach. Show off your sweet chipping skills and land on the dancefloor.

The 7th is a par-3 with any hooks heading straight for sand. If you're feeling cautious, aim completely right to avoid the bunkers, but aim centrally for the pin if you're feeling risky.

Possibly the narrowest fairway on the course, this par-4 requires an accurate drive down the middle. The only hazards are the tree-lined fairway and two bunkers on either side of the green.

To finish, a par-4 with plenty of bunkers in the final third. It's showtime. Navigate around the bunkers, land on the dancefloor, and sink that putt. Time to head to the clubhouse and celebrate the glory.

Clubhouse

A spacious and welcoming 19th hole, a perfect setting to relax and count the scorecards while enjoying some swing oil. Once you've grabbed a drink, head to the terrace to soak up the Mediterranean sun and overlook the course you conquered.

Both traditional Portuguese and classic clubhouse dishes are served in the clubhouse restaurant; take your pick from fresh local seafood and meat dishes to sandwiches and salads. Have a cheeky glass of local wine-you deserve it after that performance.
