Fota Island Golf Club - Barryscourt Course

What's Included
  • Longest course at Fota Island.
  • Built by a Ryder Cup legend.
  • Suitable for all abilities.
  • 6,958 yards.
Barryscourt is a much more forgiving course than its neighbour, Deerpark. While accuracy is needed to navigate the fairways, it offers a chance to score lower for high-handicappers, making it suitable for a mixed-ability group.

As the longest course on Fota Island, with water hazards, harsh bunkers, and testing greens, all aspects of your game will be tested. This parkland loop is a must-try in Cork.

Found on the five-star Fota Island Resort, 16k from Cork city centre, this is the ultimate stay-and-play location for a Cork golf trip. Are you ready to make your Ireland golf trip dreams a reality?

What's Included
  • Host of 3x Irish Opens.
  • Host of 2x Audi Cork Irish Masters.
  • Parkland course.
  • 6,488 yards.
Deerpark is one of two world-class courses on the Fota Island Resort, having hosted the Irish Open on three separate occasions. This classic parkland loop is famous for perfect conditions year-round.

At 6,488 yards and a par of 71, it boasts enjoyable playability for all handicaps. And with iconic holes like the 18th, a tree-lined fairway towards a semi-island green, this is a round you won't forget.

With top-tier practice facilities, a luxury resort, and just a short ride from Cork city centre, this location is iconic for an action-packed golf trip.
