The Cascades Hotel

The Cascades Hotel has 243 rooms, and every one looks out over the pools or the tropical gardens. Luxury Rooms come with a choice of double or twin beds, so they're ideal for golfing pairs, while Luxury Family Rooms offer extra space. Each room has air-conditioning, satellite TV and a bathroom with a separate bath and shower. We love waking up to the sound of the waterfalls!

Golf

This is where The Cascades Hotel really shines. Gary Player Country Club, home of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, is right next door, with its island green 9th and slick bent greens. Dining at The Cascades Hotel is a real treat. The Peninsula serves international dishes beside the lake, often with a resident pianist, while Santorini brings Greek Mediterranean flavours and wood-fired pizza to the poolside. Enjoy a cocktail at the Santorini Bar or a sundowner on the Vistas Bar terrace overlooking the gardens. Sun City's many other restaurants and bars are just a short stroll away too.

Location & Transport

The Cascades Hotel is located in the heart of Sun City Resort, in South Africa's North West Province, surrounded by the mountains and bush of the Pilanesberg National Park. Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport is roughly two and a half hours away by road. With Valley of the Waves, game drives and Sun City's entertainment centre all close by, there's plenty to do on a rest day.
