Overview
Secret Valley Golf Course lives up to its name. Hidden away in a quiet valley on Cyprus's southwest coast, close to Aphrodite's Rock and Aphrodite Hills, it feels a world away from the busy resorts. Rocky outcrops, mature trees and big blue skies frame every hole. If you love scenery with your golf, Secret Valley Golf Course is a must!
The Course
First opened in 1996, Secret Valley Golf Course was radically redesigned in 2013 by Hans Georg Erhardt and Snorri Vilhjalmsson of Golf & Land Design, with input from Tony Jacklin. It measures 5,985 metres (6,545 yards) from the back tees and plays to a par of 71.
Holes run out and back along the valley floor, following an old riverbed, before climbing to elevated tees where the wind can come into play. The front nine is especially tight, so accuracy off the tee matters far more than length. Early on the back nine, a large lake adds a splash of drama. We think it's one of the most enjoyable rounds on the island!
Signature Holes
The Lake Holes: Back Nine
Early on the back nine, a large lake comes into play on a couple of holes. Pick your line carefully, commit to the shot and keep your ball dry. It's a beautiful stretch of golf, and one you'll remember long after your round.
Hole 18: Par 5
The shortest par 5 on the course, but don't be fooled. Cleverly placed fairway bunkers guard the landing area, so a well-placed drive is key. Find the fairway and a closing birdie is very much on!
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse at Secret Valley Golf Course is relaxed and welcoming, with a pro shop and a terrace that's perfect for a cold drink after your round.
With a golf academy led by a PGA professional and Troon Golf managing the club, everything is set up to give you a great day on the course.

The Location
Secret Valley Golf Course is located on the southwest coast of Cyprus, close to Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock) and just a few kilometres from Aphrodite Hills. Paphos International Airport is around 25 minutes away by road, and the harbour town of Paphos is a short drive, with plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars. With PGA National Cyprus, Elea and Minthis all close by, it's a perfect addition to a multi course Cyprus golf break.
