Overview
Minthis Hills Golf Club is a breath of fresh air, literally! At 550 metres above sea level near the village of Tsada, it's the highest course in Cyprus and often a few degrees cooler than the coast. Olive groves, vineyards and a 12th-century monastery create a setting that's pure Cyprus. If you want golf with real character, Minthis Hills Golf Club should be on your list.
The Course
Originally designed by Donald Steel in 1994, Minthis Hills Golf Club was extensively renovated by Mackenzie & Ebert between 2017 and 2020. It measures 5,902 metres (6,454 yards) and plays to a par of 72, in two returning loops of nine holes that fan out from the clubhouse.
The land is hilly and full of character, with ravines, water features and rolling fairways framed by olive trees, with the Troodos Mountains behind. Shot-making matters here. You'll face uphill and downhill lies, blind shots and plenty of risk and reward. The site sits within a protected Natura 2000 area, and we love how natural it all feels.
Signature Holes
Hole 14: Par 4
The best risk and reward tee shot on the course. Take on the green for a shot at eagle, or play safe and rely on your wedge. Either way, it's great fun and a real talking point in the bar afterwards!
Hole 15: Par 3
The signature hole, and the only island green in Cyprus! From an elevated tee, you play downhill to a green surrounded by a lake, with no bunkers and no fairway. It's all or nothing, so commit to your club and enjoy the moment.
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse at Minthis Hills Golf Club is a contemporary building with a lounge, a golf terrace, a sports bar and a cocktail bar, plus a well-stocked pro shop. The Restaurant serves a mix of Cypriot and modern Mediterranean dishes, with a more relaxed café bar too.
With resort suites just a short walk from the first tee, you can stay right at the heart of the action.

Minthis Hills Golf Club is set in the hills near the village of Tsada, just 10 minutes from Paphos town. Paphos International Airport is around 20 minutes away, Limassol about 40 minutes and Larnaca Airport around 90 minutes, making transfers quick and easy. With the Troodos Mountains behind and views down to the coast, plus PGA National Cyprus, Elea and Secret Valley all within easy reach, it's a perfect base for a Cyprus golf break.
