Overview
La Manga Club North Course is the friendliest of La Manga's three championship layouts - but friendly doesn't mean easy! Set in the heart of the resort, it weaves past palm trees, lakes and natural gullies with views across the valley. Whether you're warming up for the South or looking for an enjoyable round with the group, La Manga Club North Course is a brilliant choice.
The Course
Designed by Robert Dean Putman and opened in 1972, La Manga Club North Course measures 5,753 metres (6,292 yards) from the back tees and plays to a par of 71. Wider fairways and undulating parkland terrain make it more forgiving off the tee than its sister courses.
The challenge comes around the greens. Many are subtly sloped or tiered, and water and barrancas lurk on several holes. Play smart, pick your targets and the scoring chances will come. We love it as a first-day course. It's the perfect way to ease into a La Manga golf break.
Signature Holes
Hole 2 - Par 3
Short but seriously tricky. This waterside par 3 plays to a three-tiered green, so club selection is everything. Land on the wrong level and a three-putt is very much in play!
Hole 18 - Par 4
A memorable finish played across a storm gully and back towards the Grand Hyatt hotel. Find the fairway, commit to your approach and enjoy the walk up to the green with the hotel as your backdrop.
The Clubhouse
The golf clubhouse serving La Manga Club North Course is relaxed, welcoming and just steps from the first tee. Grab a coffee before your round, browse the pro shop or settle in on the terrace for a cold drink afterwards.
With the Grand Hyatt's restaurants and bars close by, it's the perfect base for a golf break with friends.

The Location
La Manga Club North Course is part of La Manga Club, a 1,400-acre resort near Los Belones in the Region of Murcia, on Spain's Costa Cálida. Region of Murcia International Airport is around 40 minutes away by road, and Alicante Airport is roughly an hour and a quarter - so transfers are quick and easy. The Mar Menor lagoon, Mediterranean beaches and the historic port city of Cartagena are all close by, and with over 300 days of sunshine a year, it's one of Europe's most reliable golf break destinations.
