On the 8th, this par-3 is harshly narrow, so favour a smaller iron than usual to maintain accuracy. Anything slightly left or right will find sand.
Overview
Ladybank Golf Club is a true Scottish gem. It's golf heritage, designed by The Grand Old Man of Golf, and a regular in Scotland's top 100 courses.
Old Tom Morris envisioned a heathland course with tree-lined fairways and awkwardly placed bunkers to complicate the fairways. Organise a group and test your skills.
Course
A par-4 starts the round, with a well-guarded dancefloor. The first shot should favour the left of the fairway, with the green reachable in two strokes.
Let's not start with a shocker!
The 7th is narrow, but don't be intimidated, a birdie is possible with careful navigation. Drive slightly left and hit the centre of the green with the second shot. Easy.
This is a straightforward end to the front nine. Avoid the mounds and navigate your way to the pin. Favouring the right side will succeed. You've got this.
On the 17th, it's best to under-hit, as trees crowd the back of the dancefloor. Dodge the tree in the middle of the fairway, which should be simple, unless you hook it.
To finish, this par-4 features a bunker that often catches people out, and we can't have you bottling it at the end! Avoid the left bunker just away from the green and hit the pin.
