Top hint for this course

On the 4th, this par-3 is lengthy. Favour the right side of the green and avoid the large left-side bunker. Don't worry if you over-hit, the mound should push the ball back to the dancefloor.

Course Top Tip

Overview

Enter the only course in the world that has hosted the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup. It's that good. Understandably, many hold this near the top of their Scotland golf trip bucket list.

You need a cracking performance on these fairways, one of the country's best inland courses, designed by one of golf's greats, and a testing length. Tee off and play your own Ryder Cup.

Course

The 1st kicks things off with a harsh dogleg right, so hit left of the centre for a sweet second shot towards the green. A bunker right of the green is the only trouble.

Beware of the slope! This par-3 is pretty harsh if you ask us. Carry the drink and aim towards the back of the green, anything short will hit the water or roll back into it. Nasty.

And it doesn't ease up on the end of the front nine. Cover yardage from the tee, then the easiest approach is from the left. Any slices on the second will hit the water.

On the 15th, favour the left side of the dancefloor, as anything right will hit two deep bunkers.

A lengthy par-5 closes the round. This difficult ending means you could slip up at the final hurdle, so don't bottle it. Beware of the blind approach on the left and favour the right.

Avoid a three-putt and celebrate your win!

Clubhouse

The Dormy is an absolute dream after your round. What do you desire, fish and chips, pizza, tandoori chicken, juicy burgers, or massive Aberdeen Angus Ribeye Steak? Eat like royalty.

And if you're lucky enough, grab the infamous Sunday Roast to refuel after a round.

Enjoy the casual dining experience, discuss the action from the round, sip your favourite beverage and create unforgettable memories.
