Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa

Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is one of the best-located golf hotels in Scotland. It stands right next to the 1st tee and 18th green of the Carnoustie Championship Course, a legendary Open venue. Step out of the door. Walk to the tee. It really is that simple.

If you dream of playing links golf where the legends have played, Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is the place to stay!

Accommodation

There are 96 rooms at Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa, and many of them look straight out over the links. Choose a Standard or Twin Golf View room, upgrade to a Superior or Deluxe Golf View room with a balcony, or spread out in one of the suites. Twin rooms are perfect for golfing pairs. We love watching the final groups walk up the 18th from the window!

Golf

This is what Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is all about. The Carnoustie Championship Course has hosted The Open eight times and is famed for the brutal Barry Burn finish. The Burnside and Buddon courses are right alongside it too, so you can play three links courses without leaving the resort. Panmure and Monifieth are just a short drive away, and St Andrews is only 14 miles down the coast.

Dining & Drink

After a round on the links, head to Calder's restaurant, where Scottish produce meets Mediterranean influences and big windows look out over the Championship Course. Calder's Bar has a terrace overlooking the 1st and 18th, perfect for a pint as the sun goes down, while the sports bar is ideal for a relaxed bite and the golf on TV. Plenty of tales to tell!

Location & Transport

Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is located on the seafront in the town of Carnoustie, on Scotland's Angus coast, with a sandy beach less than 200 metres away. Dundee Airport is around 20 minutes by road and Edinburgh Airport is roughly 90 minutes. Carnoustie's Golf Street railway station is just a four-minute walk, and St Andrews makes an easy day trip. Arrive, check in and head straight to the tee!
