There are just 25 suites at The Crete Golf Club Hotel, so it never feels busy. Choose from Junior Suites or Executive Suites, each with a separate living area, a marble bathroom and a private balcony. Views stretch across the fairways to the mountains or the sea. We think that's a pretty great way to start (or finish) the day.

Golf

This is where The Crete Golf Club Hotel really comes into its own. The Bob Hunt-designed course opened in 2003 and plays as a desert-style par 71 of around 5,800 metres from the back tees. Expect rolling terrain, rugged Cretan hillsides and plenty of elevation change. The par-3 6th is the signature hole, and the 11th serves up unforgettable views of the Lasithi Mountains. Want to sharpen up? The 300m-plus driving range, practice greens and indoor swing studio with launch-monitor technology are right on the doorstep.

Dining & Drink

On site, you'll find a restaurant and bar with views over the course, serving breakfast and relaxed meals throughout the day. Grab a cold drink by the saltwater infinity pool after your round, you've earned it! For a livelier night, the tavernas and bars of Hersonissos are only a short drive away.

Location & Transport

The Crete Golf Club Hotel sits at Roussos Lakkos, just inland from Hersonissos on Crete's north coast. Heraklion International Airport is roughly 30 minutes by road, making transfers quick and easy. Beaches, the old hill villages and the Minoan Palace of Knossos are all within easy reach for a rest day. Land, check in, and you're on the tee no fuss!
