Overview
James Braid created a natural links course using Cornwall's rugged terrain with undulating fairways and blind shots to create a testing but rewarding round of authentic golf, as it was meant to be played.
Perranporth features few man-made hazards, the gorse, dunes and level changes will test your ability instead; this classic links course hosts plenty of England Golf Championships for a reason.
With golf lodges on-site and just a short ride or walk to Perranporth town centre, this convenient location is ideal for an epic golf trip near Newquay.
Now, the hardest hole at Perranporth. At 392 yards, this par-4 is an uphill battle, where your driving skills are tested. Take an extra club on the approach to cover the incline on the second stroke.
Don't be disappointed with a par here! If you score a triple bogey, at least you have some excuses…
Finally, the 16th is the longest par-3 at a whopping 209 yards. While the green is large, accuracy is required, so use your expert club knowledge to crush it.
On top of this, the kitchen boasts a large menu with breakfast classics, Sunday lunches, curry and steak-themed nights so you can recover like an absolute legend.
