Marriott Residence Salgados Resort

Marriott Residences Salgados Resort is the new name for one of our favourite Algarve golf bases. You may know it as NAU Salgados Palm Village. Same brilliant spot, now under the Marriott brand. It sits between Salgados Golf Club and Salgados Beach, just outside Albufeira, with ten pools and plenty of room to relax.

If you want golf on the doorstep and your own apartment-style space, Marriott Residences Salgados Resort is a great choice!

Accommodation

There are 192 residences at Marriott Residences Salgados Resort, ranging from one to three bedrooms. Every residence has a fully fitted kitchen, a comfortable living area and a balcony, with many looking out over the pools and gardens. The two and three bedroom suites are ideal for groups sharing, and the penthouses come with large private terraces. Plenty of space to spread out after a day on the course!

Golf

Salgados Golf Club is right next door, so you can walk to the 1st tee. This par 72 layout by Pedro Vasconcelos is full of lakes and water hazards, and a recent renovation has added a brand new island green on the par 3 12th. Morgado and Álamos are around 35 minutes' drive west, and Vilamoura's famous courses are about 25 minutes away. We think it's one of the best value golf bases in the Algarve.

Dining & Drink

In Season is the main restaurant, serving fresh, seasonal dishes from breakfast through to dinner. Fancy something more relaxed? Amarea Pizzeria serves handcrafted pizzas and Italian favourites, while Green Artisan is the place for cocktails, cold beers and casual bites, with live sport on the screens. Perfect for settling the bets from the day's round!

Location & Transport

Marriott Residences Salgados Resort is located at Herdade dos Salgados, near Guia, around 15 minutes from the centre of Albufeira. Faro Airport is roughly 40 minutes away by car, making transfers quick and easy. Salgados Beach is a short walk through the resort, and there's a complimentary beach shuttle too. Albufeira's old town, bars and restaurants are close by for a night out!
