Overview
Golf du Soleil is one of the best-known names in Moroccan golf. Set just south of Agadir, it's the city's only 36-hole venue, so you can play two very different courses without leaving the club. Sunshine, palm trees and great conditioning. If you're planning a golf break in Agadir, Golf du Soleil is a must!
The Course
Golf du Soleil opened in 1999, designed by Fernando Muela and Gerard Courbin. The Championship Course measures 5,976 metres (6,535 yards) from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. It has hosted the Ladies European Tour's Lalla Meryem Cup, so expect it in great shape.
The Championship Course is fairly flat and easy to walk, with palm-fringed fairways, big bunkers and water in play on several holes. The Tikida Course, extended to 18 holes in 2006, is also a par 72 but plays shorter and tighter, winding through a eucalyptus forest. We love having two such different courses in one place!
Signature Holes
Tikida Course, Hole 7: Par 3
A short but nerve-testing par 3 played over water to a well-guarded green, right beside the Tikida Golf Palace hotel. Pick the right club, trust your swing and enjoy the moment!
The Finishing Par 3
Golf du Soleil saves a treat for the end, with a short par 3 played across the lake in front of the clubhouse. With an audience on the terrace, there's a little extra pressure. Hit the green and enjoy the applause!
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse at Golf du Soleil is friendly and relaxed, with a restaurant, bar and pro shop. Its terrace looks out over the lake and the final green, so it's the perfect spot to watch groups finish and settle the bets.
There's a driving range and putting greens to warm up on, and the Tikida Golf Palace is right on site if you want to stay and play.

The Location
Golf du Soleil is located just south of Agadir, around 7 km from the city centre and 2 km from Inezgane, right next to Golf Les Dunes and close to Golf de l'Ocean. Agadir's beachfront hotels are around 15 to 20 minutes away, and Agadir Al Massira Airport is roughly 25 minutes by road. With three top golf venues side by side and year-round sunshine, it's an ideal base for a Morocco golf break.
