Overview
Golf de l'Ocean is one of the most enjoyable places to play golf in Agadir. Set among natural sand dunes and a eucalyptus forest just south of the city, it offers 27 holes and three very different nines. Variety. Character. Great conditioning. If you're planning a golf break in Morocco, Golf de l'Ocean deserves a place on your itinerary!
The Course
Designed by Belt Collins and opened in 2010, Golf de l'Ocean spreads across 90 hectares with 27 holes, split into three nines: Dunes, Garden and Desert. Play any two together for a full 18-hole round, and you'll get a different feel each time.
The Dunes nine is the most undulating, weaving over natural sand ridges. The Garden nine is gentler underfoot but brings water into play, including a large lake. The Desert nine adds some testing climbs, including a memorable uphill par 4. Four lakes, pine trees and narrow corridors through the forest reward accuracy. We love the variety!
Signature Holes
The Garden Nine: Lakeside Holes
The Garden nine is where water really comes into play, with a large lake guarding some of the best holes on the course. Pick your line carefully, trust your yardage and keep your ball dry!
The Desert Nine: Uphill Par 4
A real test of club selection. This uphill par 4 on the Desert nine plays longer than the card suggests, so take an extra club for your approach. Find the green, and you've earned your par!
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse at Golf de l'Ocean has a restaurant, bar and pro shop, plus a terrace with panoramic views over Agadir. It's the perfect place for lunch between nines or a cold drink after your round.
The Michielsen Academy offers tuition for all levels, and there's a 30-bay driving range, putting greens and a pitch and putt to warm up on.

The Location
Golf de l'Ocean is located in the Bensergao area, just south of Agadir, close to Golf du Soleil and Golf Les Dunes. The city's beachfront hotels are around 15 to 20 minutes away, and Agadir Al Massira Airport is roughly 25 minutes by road. With several top courses so close together, plus year-round sunshine, it's an ideal base for a multi-course golf break in Morocco.
