Top hint for this course
We've got a tip for the 7th. Hit the middle of the track, as anything left could be found in the hidden bunker among the trees. Let your friends do that instead!
Full Course Lowdown
In the heart of Playa de las Americas, the Golf Las Americas is one of Tenerife's main tourist attractions, and a real favourite among avid golfers who visit the Canary Islands.
The coastal terrain naturally includes level changes and water hazards, so the layout will test your IQ and navigation. Get stuck in and check it out.
Course
An intimidating body of water guards the green on the 1st. Be sure to lay up before the lake, it's not the easiest to clear. Now, let's avoid the dreaded three-putt to start.
The 5th, a par-3, is no walk in the park. The well-guarded dancefloor has a lake in front, and bunkers on every side. Carry the drink and aim for the centre of the green. Good luck.
At the end of the front nine, there's no water (finally). The dogleg right hides the dancefloor, so aim slightly left of the centre with a firm drive to reveal the pin and set up an easier second shot. Watch out for the bunkers on the approach.
To finish, there's an audience. Swing a firm drive down the middle of the fairway and gain as much distance as possible. Anything central is a success. Next, use a long iron for the second stroke-but avoid the water on the right.
Clubhouse
Located in Playa de Americas, Tenerife's prime destination, this 19th is naturally lively. Whether you sit in the TV room and catch some live sport or grab an ice-cold Dorada and sit on the terrace, the atmosphere is electric.
Walking the fairways works up an appetite. Will you line your stomach with a massive New York steak baguette or tuck into a classic English breakfast? Take your pick.Course Facilities

The Location
It's one hell of a location. If you love a variety of golf courses, a bouncing party atmosphere, bustling beaches, and top-tier restaurants, then look no further.
Playa de las Americas has a range of hotels dotted across the area for all pockets.
And the nightlife here is insane. Known as the party capital of Tenerife, you're spoilt for choice with nightclubs and beach bars that pop off until the early hours of the morning. It's serious.
As well as this, Tenerife South Airport is only 15.3km away, so you're under a 20-minute drive (traffic dependent) from kickstarting the trip. Get your clubs ready.
