Overview

Ashburnham Golf Club is one of Wales' most historic and celebrated links courses. Founded in 1894, it has hosted both amateur and professional championships, securing its reputation among the UK's finest seaside layouts. Located on Carmarthen Bay, the course combines rich tradition, sweeping coastal views, and a classic links challenge that rewards strategy and precision.

The Course

At Ashburnham Golf Club, rolling fairways, pot bunkers, and fast-running greens provide a stern but fair test. Coastal winds keep players alert, and natural dunes frame many holes, giving golfers a true links experience. Championship pedigree is built into every yard of this classic layout.

Signature Holes

7th Hole (Par 4): A demanding links test requiring accuracy from the tee and nerve on approach, with bunkers guarding a slick green.

18th Hole (Par 5): A thrilling finishing hole that rewards bold play with a birdie chance but punishes anything offline with bunkers and dunes.

The Clubhouse

After your round, the welcoming clubhouse at Ashburnham Golf Club provides the perfect place to unwind. Overlooking the course and Carmarthen Bay, it offers hearty food, local drinks, and the chance to soak in the heritage of one of Wales' most iconic golfing venues.
