Top hint for this course
We've got a tip for the 7th. The fairway harshly narrows towards the end, so we recommend using a long iron on this par-4 rather than a driver for accuracy.
Full Course Lowdown
Golf history buffs will absolutely love the chance to play here. It's golf heritage. Grab the opportunity and tee off on the home of golf's most underrated loop. Each hole is unique and provides and different challenge.
Gather a group of golf connoisseurs to appreciate the finest of links and have it out on the legendary fairways.
Course
To begin, a par-4 with two bunkers on either side of the fairway means the tee shot should be straight down the middle. Try to approach from the right for the best attempt; beware of the bunker behind the green.
The 5th, a par-3, often changes pin position. If it's closer, run the ball down off the deep slope. If it's on the upper tier, aim directly for the lower half of the green for the best putt.
At the end of the front nine, bunkers make the par-3 tricky. Aim for the left slope to push the ball towards the pin. It's the safest option.
Hole 12, a par-5, favours a drive down the left. From there, hit a shot before the green for an easy layup and approach.
To finish, an undulating par-4 requires a shot down the left of the centre, landing between the fairway bunkers. Watch out for the five bunkers surrounding the green (a bit harsh).
Clubhouse
A 19th hole that's focused on traditional Scottish comforts. With an awesome selection of whiskey, an unbelievable range of top-tier scran, and one comfortable and laid-back atmosphere, it's the ultimate clubhouse.
