Top hint for this course
We're about to give you a tip for the opener. Hit towards the bunker and land just short of it. This will allow for the easiest approach towards the green, where the left side should be favoured.
Full Course Lowdown
This one has hosted some serious tournaments, and it's not to be underestimated during play.
With many risk-reward holes, golfers of all levels will have their bravery put to the test. Will you take the risks, or will you play cautiously?
Punishing bunkers, undulating terrain, and complicated mounds create one hell of a round.
Get the squad together and discover who's on top at this links replication course. The loser buys the first pints at the 19th.
Course
On the 2nd, this par-5 tests accuracy and distance. Missing the fairway will mean one tricky shot off the mounds on the second attempt; keep it central and hit the dancefloor with the second.
A nice and easy par-3 on the 5th makes for a resting point. Simply hit the centre of the green, avoid the trees to the left and the bunker to the right.
The start of the back nine kicks off with a dogleg right on a par-4. Clear this with a central drive like a champ and enjoy the easy approach to the green. Did somebody say birdie?
A risk-reward par-3 on the 11th puts your tactics to the test. Do you aim straight for the green and risk hitting one of the three surrounding bunkers, or lay up before the dancefloor for an easy chip shot?
To finish, a lengthy par-5 where clearing the rough is vital. Afterwards, favour the right side as you approach the green for a strong end to the round.
