Top hint for this course
On the 3rd, this short par-4 is reachable in two. If you're a big hitter, put the driver away and land before the green for a simple approach. Did somebody say birdie?
Full Course Lowdown
While overshadowed by the Albatros course, Aigle is a unique round compared to the Ryder Cup course. While easier, it's the perfect round to tackle after the challenging Albatros fairways.
This links-style layout with undulating terrain is legendary. Aigle is awesome, whether you want to warm up for the bigger round or cool off afterwards. Now, grab your clubs and tee off.
Course
The 1st eases you into the round. Hit the centre of the fairway for a successful start before approaching the dancefloor with a short iron. Easy.
On the 4th, anything over-hit could be a nightmare. At only 168 yards, with a bunker and rough at the back, we recommend you under-club.
A dogleg ends the front nine, so a slice might finally succeed! Hit towards the start of the turn before aiming left of the dancefloor to avoid the bunker on the right.
The 13th, another par-3, favours under-clubbing due to the distance and sand traps at the back of the green. Aim centrally to find the pin.
To finish is a short par-4 at 297 yards. Carry the path to find the centre of the fairway, avoid the right-side bunkers, and then favour an accurate approach. Bunkers on either side make this tricky.
Clubhouse
The Pitch Restaurant offers casual dining and a welcoming atmosphere to unwind after conquering the fairways. What bottle of wine will compliment your meal?
This 19th is top-tier, no matter the time of year. Kill that thirst with a well-earned beverage, order your favourite recovery meal and enjoy the post-round discussion with your friends.Course Facilities
