Overview

Le Golf d'Arras is one of northern France's standout parkland courses. Just over an hour from Calais, it's an easy choice for UK groups and travelling players looking for top-tier golf without the travel fuss. Designed by Jean-Claude Cornillot and opened in 1990, it's hosted multiple Ladies' French Opens - and for good reason. The layout is thoughtful, the scenery is stunning, and the vibe? Friendly, relaxed, and properly golf-focused.

The Course

This 18-hole championship course, known as La Vallée, plays just under 6,700 yards (6,117m) off the whites. It's beautifully routed through a rolling valley, with natural elevation changes that keep things interesting. Tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers, and several water hazards mean you'll need more than just a decent tee shot. It's the kind of course that rewards smart play but still lets high-handicappers enjoy the round.

Le Golf d'Arras also features Les Aubépines, a nine-hole par-31 loop that's perfect for a warm-up or quick afternoon hit.

Signature Holes

Hole 5 - Par 3

A short but dramatic par-3. Water guards the entire front and left side, while the green slopes gently back to front. It's only 145 yards, but don't take it lightly.

Hole 15 - par 5

This one invites a bold second shot. A slight downhill dogleg left with water hugging the right side and a multi-tiered green. A true risk-reward moment late in the round.

The Clubhouse

After your round, the clubhouse delivers. Casual, comfortable, and filled with natural light, it's got everything you want - cold drinks, regional dishes, and friendly staff who love their golf. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or kicking back for the afternoon, it rounds off the Le Golf d'Arras experience perfectly.

The Location

Le Golf d'Arras sits just 5 minutes north of the city in Anzin-Saint-Aubin, making it incredibly easy to reach. From Calais, it's a smooth 1-hour drive-ideal for groups coming from the UK or northern France. The course feels tucked away in its own quiet valley, yet you're never far from the bars, restaurants, and historic charm of central Arras. It's a brilliant base for a weekend of golf, food, and a bit of French culture on the side.
