Full Course Lowdown
Princes Golf Course is on the legendary Sandwich coast, with the famous undulating English terrain, incredible scenery, and a guaranteed test of your skills. It's an unreal experience.
The extensive practice facilities boast a Toptracer driving range, a chipping area, and a large putting green--perfect to sharpen your craft before you tee up.
You must tackle the 67th best In the UK and Ireland. Hosting the 1932 Open Championship, the PGA Championship, and the Open Championship Qualifiers, you can follow in the footsteps of legends.
Princes is split into three world-class 9-hole courses.
Shore
This 9-hole track boasts a rich history and plenty of holes that test the pros, so how will the gang handle it? Sink your putt on the 6th and replicate Sarazen's 1932 Open win--if you can do it justice.
Shore Course is lined with pot bunkers, harsh gorse, blind shots, and undulating greens, making this a suitable choice for low-handicappers. Every aspect of the game is tested.
At a par of 36 and 3,419 yards, we recommend adding this one to your round if you have a low handicap.
Dunes
Dunes is another par-36 measuring 3,436 yards. Offering a balanced mix of 3s, 4s, and 5s, Dunes is slightly more forgiving than the Shore Course.
The signature hole, and most difficult, is the opener, where a dogleg leads towards the smallest dancefloor of the round.
Similar to the Shore Course, this link-style loop offers plenty of challenges with the natural earthy terrain and inconvenient dunes on the fairway.
Himalayas
Himalayas is 3,376 yards and if you're looking for a different challenge to Dunes and Shore, look no further.
Designed by MacKenzie (Augusta National architect), this course ticks every box as a bucket lister for golf enthusiasts.
Like St. Andrews Old Course, the 4th and 8th share a double green and is one of the only other courses outside the home of golf to include this feature.
Expect marshland, water, elevated tees and challenging tee shots into the wind on this gem.
Prince's 19th hole offers 360 views of the course and a top-tier dining experience, so it's more than just a place to grab a drink.
From homemade pies and a full English to an infamous Sunday roast menu and clubhouse classics, nobody will leave this clubhouse hungry.
But if you're looking to take things to the next level, head to the 1932 Grill (named after the Open held at Princes).
This joint does an outrageous steak--why not treat yourself after breaking 90?
Or grab a pint at The Spike Bar, boasting a line-up of quality beers on tap and a cosy atmosphere.
