Overview

Chervò Golf San Vigilio is one of the standout golfing venues in the Lake Garda region, offering a high-quality golf experience in a beautifully maintained resort setting. For golfers planning an Italy golf break, Chervò Golf San Vigilio delivers the right balance of championship design, playability and first-class facilities.

Set within rolling countryside near the southern shores of Lake Garda, this impressive 27-hole complex was designed to appeal to a wide range of players. We think that is one of its biggest strengths! Whether you are travelling as part of a society, a group trip or a more relaxed golf holiday, Chervò Golf San Vigilio offers variety, quality and a polished resort feel from start to finish.

The Course

The golf at Chervò Golf San Vigilio is built around a 27-hole championship layout, made up of three distinct 9-hole loops: Benaco, Solferino and San Martino. This gives golfers flexibility as well as plenty of variety across a stay. It also keeps each round feeling fresh.

Designed by Kurt Rossknecht and opened in 2008, Chervò Golf San Vigilio combines a parkland foundation with subtle links-style influences. Expect generous fairways in places, clever bunkering, well-shaped greens and strong strategic interest throughout the round. At full championship length, the course stretches to around 7,400 yards and plays to a par of 72.

This is a course that rewards good decision-making. Long hitters can open it up, but accuracy and course management still matter. That makes Chervò Golf San Vigilio enjoyable for both lower handicappers and mid-range golfers looking for a premium, well-balanced test.

Signature Holes

Hole 1

A strong opening hole can shape the feel of a round, and Chervò Golf San Vigilio does that well. The opener immediately asks for commitment from the tee and gives golfers an early taste of the course's smart design. Good positioning is key. Start well here and you can build momentum quickly.

Hole 2

Another memorable hole comes from the resort's championship routing, where water, bunkering and green contours combine to create a hole that looks fantastic but still demands focus. It is the type of hole that stays with you after the round. Challenging, scenic and very well framed.

The Clubhouse

The experience at Chervò Golf San Vigilio goes well beyond the fairways. The modern clubhouse provides everything golfers need before and after play, with quality practice facilities, comfortable social spaces and the kind of service you expect from an established Italian golf resort.

There is a relaxed but premium atmosphere throughout. We like that it feels smart without becoming stuffy. For groups, couples or golf tour parties, Chervò Golf San Vigilio is a venue that makes the full day work brilliantly, not just the round itself. That is a big part of its appeal!

The Location

Chervò Golf San Vigilio is ideally located on the southern shores of Lake Garda, one of Italy's most popular golf and leisure destinations.
