Top hint for this course
On the 8th, a short par-3 at 106 yards from the back tee, we recommend you use a wedge or 9-iron, as the distance is minimal, and the green is large.
Full Course Lowdown
Host of the Spanish PGA Championship and the Senior Spanish Championship, these fairways are packed with history.
Prepare to tackle the volcanic, desert-style terrain, black sand bunkers and unique rough areas as you navigate your way to the greens.
The par-3s on this course are infamous. How will you handle the signature 11th and how will you score in your own Spanish PGA Championship?
Course
A par-4 with a dogleg right starts the round. Find the centre of the fairway to remove the angle and enjoy the open green. Lovely start.
Here's the first of the iconic par-3s on the 2nd. Avoid the large bunker right of the green to get ahead of the gang--but watch out for the narrow dancefloor.
The 9th, a par-4, has an open path towards the green. Keep the drive straight to avoid the tree-lined fairway, sorry slicers.
Now for the signature hole on the 11th, a par-3. Stones circle the green, so anything under-hit from the tee could deflect away or land in the bunker. Good luck.
An enjoyable par-4 closes the round. At 448 yards, it's begging for a scorcher off the tee box. Open your shoulders and cover some serious distance before chipping over the bunkers.
What a finisher.
Clubhouse
This vibey 19th hole is a cracking place to relax and enjoy a beverage, with friendly staff and music creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Grab an ice-cold pint of Tropical or Dorada and wash back some classic Spanish cuisine. You've earned it after that killer round.Course Facilities
