Top hint for this course

We've got a tip for the opening hole. A 396-yard par-4 which is reachable in two strokes draws people into aiming straight for the green. However, it's sloped, so aim towards the back of the dancefloor to ensure it stays.

Full Course Lowdown

Over the years, four prominent architects (Colt, Braid, Ross, and Steel) have each contributed and changed aspects of the course, so the layout has been graced by legends.

No par-5s feature here, those looking to improve their game across shorter distances will thrive-so invite that friend with the shortest drive! Get all the gang together and hit the fairways.

Course

The 2nd is another par-4 at 413 yards. Bunkers zigzag on either side of the fairway with one to the left of the dancefloor. The large green here makes for an easy target.

On the 5th, this par-4 features a harsh dogleg hiding the dancefloor and plagued with bunkers. The approach is uphill, with the slope on the green guiding towards the sand. Hitting the back of the dancefloor is vital here.

The 6th is an elevated tee-off towards a green surrounded by bunkers. Hitting the pin from the box should be easy if your club selection is on point.

On the 16th, a par-3 at 144 yards is an uphill drive with bunkers on either side of the undulated green.

Clubhouse

A classic warm and welcoming clubhouse with a wide selection of beers, bar snacks and hearty meals-what's not to like?

A chance to kick back, relax and enjoy some beverages while analysing the action from the round. If the weather isn't typically Scottish, then top up your tan on the decking and plan the evening.

The Location

A prime location for those wanting an authentic Scottish golf experience. Located alongside the coast away from the city centre madness, it's suited to a group looking for a secluded destination.

If you want the traditional Scottish golf experience with a party, then look no further than Edinburgh. From whiskey tours to sightseeing, you won't be bored in your downtime.

And a 14.5-mile distance between this bouncing city and the course means getting back and forward is a breeze. As for the airport, it's 23.5 miles away.
