Top hint for this course

The 3rd features a dogleg left with narrow trees towards the approach. Clear distance off the tee, then carefully lay up before the bunkers. From here, the chip is easy.

Full Course Lowdown

Murrayshall Golf Course is one of the best parkland courses in Dundee and Perth.

Can you avoid slices off the tee and steer clear of the trees? Grab the gang and discover if you can dominate these epic fairways.

Course

The opening tee box sits in front of the car park. No pressure. Hit the centre-right of the fairway for the simplest second shot and favour the right of the green.

On the 4th, a par-3, it's safer to over-hit than under-hit, as anything short will hit the drink.

A right-angle dogleg hides the dancefloor at the end of the front nine. Aim central before the rough to remove the dogleg before hitting the right of the dancefloor to avoid the sand.

Bunkers galore. The par-4 13th is harsh but we're sure you'll boss it. Land between the initial bunkers then hit a lengthy approach shot towards the back of the green.

A pleasant surprise waits at the end. An unusual par-3 finish creates a birdie chance, so go for the green in one and let your putting do the talking.

Clubhouse

Traditional Scottish booze is the line-up at this 19th. And it's not your ordinary clubhouse menu, from burgers and hotdogs, Goan and Thai green curry, to deli sandwiches and steak and chips.

Now that's some serious scran.

Compliment this with an ice-cold beverage and laugh at the friend who couldn't keep out of the bunkers.

The Location

Murrayshall is located on the outskirts of Perth.

Conveniently, Dundee Airport is just 16.6 miles from the course, so you can get there in around half an hour after landing.

On-site is Murrayshall Country Estate, a four-star hotel. But, don't sweat it, Perth has plenty of options for all pockets if you want an alternative. Sorted.

Perth is 4 miles from the course. Head here for chain restaurants, traditional Scottish pubs, and heaving nightclubs for the perfect boozy night.
