Full Course Lowdown
Despite less history than traditional Irish links, these testing fairways have hosted plenty of significant tournaments from the Irish PGA to notable amateur competitions.
At a monstrous 7,150 yards, even the scratch golfers will be tested with the undulating greens, dunes, and harsh gorse.
As a typical links, weather affects the play. Can you adjust your game to the legendary Irish terrain and win your own Irish PGA Championship?
Keep the drive central and you could be approaching from the second stroke--chip on to the spacious green to birdie this par-4.
Hole 17, a par-3, is one of the finest. Anything under-hit will find the bunkers, so it's best to take an extra club for the 185 yards.
At the end of the back nine, a 547-yard par-5 with plenty of deep bunkers will even test the pros. Don't be disappointed with a par!
Cover the distance on this narrow fairway, keep it simple, and don't bottle it in front of the clubhouse.
Remember, even Des Smyth, Ryder Cup legend said, "I know my game is in great shape when I play well around Seapoint."
If the pros find it hard, don't sweat it, just head to the 19th for a Guinness.
The Seapoint Bar & Restaurant is what every 19th hole should be: an informal, welcoming space to catch up and enjoy a well-earned pint.
On top of this, the fresh and locally sourced produce creates the perfect recovery meal after conquering 18 holes.
Whether you want a classic fish and chips or a full English, there's something for everybody.

The Location
Seapoint Links is 56.1km north of Dublin city centre.
Like the UK's weather, it can be a bit of a wildcard, so pack for all conditions, especially as you're playing links golf, which is mostly windy (at least there's an excuse for your slice).
Plenty of accommodations for all pockets crowd this area, making it a breeze to find a hotel.
Ireland's capital is a city like no other: the home of Guinness, an electric atmosphere, live music everywhere, authentic pubs, and a rich history.
This is the day trip of all day trips--but if you fancy more than a slice of the action, why not stay in the centre at Leonardo Hotel Parnell Street?
The Dublin area boasts plenty of world-class courses within a short drive. The Island Golf Club and Carton House Montgomerie Course are 55km away.
The Island Golf Club is the 8th-best in Ireland, so if you only visit one other, make it this one.
Drogheda, 10km away, is the nearest town with restaurants, authentic pubs, live music venues, and lively bars to get the party in full swing.
Dublin Airport is 55km away, so pre-book a transfer in your free enquiry to make your journey smooth.
