Top hint for this course

Here's a tip for the 5th. Keep right the entire hole. Firstly, aim centre-right of the fairway from the tee box, removing the dogleg but avoiding the bunker. Then, aim right of the green for the approach to avoid the bunker to the left.

Full Course Lowdown

Dublin hosts stunning fairways, and Luttrellstown competes with the best. At a length of over 7,000 yards, it's a whopping course where big drivers are rewarded, with a focus on accuracy.

Strategically placed bunkers guard the USGA green, so there's no easy approach shot here. Alongside slopes, water hazards and complicated terrain, it's a challenge to even the seasoned player. Get the squad together and check out the craic!

Course

A straightforward start to ease you into one meaty loop. The good news is that you can reach the dancefloor in two, but the bad news is that the majority of tee shots land in the bunkers on either side of the fairway at the halfway point. Favour accuracy to avoid the sand and approach the green.

Now that's one unforgiving par-3. At 176 yards off the tee, club selection is vital to first reach the green, but without sacrificing accuracy and landing in the bunker or trees.

The 11th is unique. Have you ever carried over a road? Well, there's one here splitting the fairway down the middle, with a river to the left punishing wayward shots. If you focus on aiming centrally, there shouldn't be any problems.

On the 18th, a dogleg right, tree-lined fairway hides the green. After clearing the dogleg, you will discover the water hazard protecting the green, so tactically plan your approach for the dancefloor. You can't bottle it on the 18th, can you?

Clubhouse

Three floors of 19th-hole excellence. It might just be one of our favourite clubhouses, with a snooker table, a restaurant, a bar, al-fresco dining, and a clubhouse lounge designed for snacks and cold drinks after a round.

You're spoilt for choice at this place. Will you wine and dine after the round, or catch up over a few beers and some light snacks? Either way, we're sure you'll be having it out on the snooker table.
