Top hint for this course

Here's a tip for the 2nd. A dogleg left means that hitting the white stone on the fairway or just to the right of it will put you in the best position for the second shot.

Full Course Lowdown

An example of Dublin's coastal gems and traditional links that make Ireland a golfing titan.

Designed by the legendary James Braid, this course challenges all skill levels with its complicated terrain and harsh doglegs. It's no straightforward round.

Course

Let's tee off with the opener. It features a dogleg right, so favouring the left of the fairway presents you with the best chance. As for the approach shot, aim for the right side of the green.

The 10th is an uphill battle (literally). Drive for the top of the hill with accuracy, as hitting left or right will punish you.

A simple par-3 on the 15h just requires accuracy favouring the right side of the green because of the water hazard left of the green. Don't want to lose another ball, do you?

A picturesque finish. The end of the back nine has amazing views, with a rather simple end to the loop. Aim towards the clubhouse to gain towards the green, but beware, the 19th's surroundings are out of bounds.

Clubhouse

A luxury clubhouse where the fun and competition don't stop. Grab some well-earned swing oil before you head over to the games room and crank up the competition on the snooker table.

Afterwards, catch up on the live sport and enjoy some clubhouse grub classics while washing it down with-you guessed it-Guinness.

The Location

After a successful round, there's one thing on everybody's mind: nightlife. Dublin city centre is 15.4km from Howth Golf Club, and the craic is unbelievable.
