Top hint for this course
Let's give you a tip for the 7th. This par-4 requires a cautious approach throughout. First, carry over the water but short of the first bunkers. It requires an accurate drive, with the second stroke favouring the right side of the green. Watch the others fumble and land in the bunkers.
Full Course Lowdown
One of Dubai's gems was built by golfing legend, Ernie Els, who wanted the traditional links style when crafting the design. Doglegs are common, meaning you'll need to bring you're a-game and put your golfing IQ to the test to come out on top.
If you've got a Middle East bucket list, you must tick this off. So, check it out, grab the gang, and play one of the finest desert links courses.
Course
The 2nd is a straightforward par-3 that offers a sweet birdie chance. If you can reach the green in one, go for it, as there's a low risk and it's a great chance to get ahead of your friends.
The 5th has an extreme dogleg left. Hit straight for the middle left of the fairway in front of you while avoiding the bunkers on the far left. This way, you'll have a better second shot that can layup for the dancefloor.
On the 11th, a par-3 that requires caution is an awesome chance for a par. Be sure to drive towards the green, laying up just short to avoid the bunkers. From there, let your short game do the talking and teach your friends a lesson.
The final hole is difficult. Bunkers throughout the fairway make carrying over the initial sand complicated, but if you clear the bunker then your only problem is the bunkers surrounding the dancefloor.
Clubhouse
The perfect laid-back dining experience with your friends. Eat like a champ by ordering the massive juicy steak on offer, then tally up the scorecards whilst enjoying the variety of beverages available.
This vibrant 19th hole is a clear favourite among visitors, so it's an excellent venue for the gang to gather after golf and reward yourselves for that hell of a shift on the fairways.

The Location
The Els Club is located 38.4km from Dubai International Airport, so you'll be teeing off in no time after landing. The surrounding area is the "Dubai Sports City" so whatever activities this place doesn't have, isn't worth knowing about. If golf wasn't enough of a fix, you're spoilt for choice.
As you're in the middle of it all, hotels, restaurants, and bars are dotted around the area, so if you fancy experiencing the glitzy Dubai lifestyle, you're only a putting distance away.
